Friday Favourites

This weeks Friday Favourites is a little more eclectic than usual, featuring a wider range of our favourite things this week. From web articles to new products we’re lusting over, we feel this will be a more appealing read…

1.  First up, (and quite topical) is a quiz we came across on the Guardian website titled, Charlie Sheen v Muammar Gaddafi: whose line is it anyway? Now I know a lot of people may have come across this already this week but this ‘favourite’ is for those that haven’t. If you’re in need of a laugh this Friday afternoon, be sure to have a go at this quiz!

2. We came across this next one thanks to ‘Wired’ magazine, which we are big readers of at Slate HQ. The Fujifilm X100. The styling of this camera is classic and looks like an old 35mm compact camera but it houses some advanced digital technology with SLR capability. Definitely one for our wish list.

3. Whilst we’re on the theme of photography take a look at this project titled ‘Back to the Future’ by Irina Werning. With a love for old photos, Irina set out imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact the scenes from them today… the result is not disappointing and certainly put a smile on our faces.
