Friday Favourites

Welcome to the unveiling of our shiny new weekly feature, that we are calling  ‘Friday Favourites’. A collection of three websites that have caught our eye over the working week whilst scouring through the world wide web. These could be chosen because of their design, functionality, content or just because they are generally interesting and we feel they are worthy of sharing with you. So, without further ado:

1. Eric Johansson, a Swedish designer, has created a fresh way of navigating through his portfolio site. An eye catching palette mixed with humour and simplicity makes for a very worth while entry to our our Friday Favourites list!

2. Next up is the star of our round robin emails of web humour, 27b/6. This side splitting article features the email to and fro’s between a designer and client discussing replacement artwork. It has to be read in all its glory to understand the level of wit that still keeps us chuckling to ourselves over. Whether these articles are real or fake we can’t decide but they certainly make us laugh nonetheless.

3. And finally… on a more serious note, we came across a site called Smarta. Which is a new support platform for business owners and entrepreneurs. Their goal is to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ where business owners can connect, learn and do business. The team is made up of entrepreneurs who understand what business people want and need. Worth checking out if you’re in need of any business advice or wanting to network.
